YOUR IMPACT

The
Senior/Lead Consultant for xECM
at OpenText plays a pivotal role in connecting the technical aspects of OpenText Engineering Solutions with the Energy & Engineering business processes of our clients. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise in xECM for Engineering configuration and ECM-related development, along with a solid understanding of OpenText ECM. Equally important are advanced consulting capabilities, including excellent customer-facing skills, the ability to build and maintain client relationships, lead blueprint design and requirements workshops, and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Design and implement OpenText xECM for Engineering solutions aligned with business requirements, supported by clear and comprehensive specifications.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of OpenText xECM for Engineering, ECM, Brava, Blazon, Archive Server, OTDS, sMFT, CS WebServices & REST APIs, System Center, and related integrations.
• Hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting xECM for Engineering, including ASM, CRT, and Transmittals.
• Independently manage end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Familiarity with integration technologies such as Coreshare, Primavera, and CAD drawing-related systems.
• Basic knowledge of Java, OpenText Content Server, and scripting languages is considered an asset.
• Proficient in developing SMARTUI components, OScript modules, and RESTful services.
• Plan and coordinate unit and integration testing phases, including the creation of use cases and test scripts.
• Conduct thorough testing of custom extensions and implemented solutions.
• Willing and able to lead business workshops and deliver end-user training sessions.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Passionate about technology and committed to continuous learning and professional growth.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a consulting role.
• Proven experience with OpenText ECM, including installations, upgrades, configurations, OTDS, and custom development.
• Hands-on expertise in installing, upgrading, and patching OpenText Content Server and Archive Server.
• Prior experience with Java, OpenText Content Server, and scripting languages.
• Strong background in xECM for Engineering, including ASM, CRT, Transmittals, and core concepts of engineering document management and archiving.
• Skilled in root cause analysis (RCA) for performance and functional issues in xECM for Engineering and ECM implementations.
• Trusted by clients and colleagues, even in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrates a strong desire to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technologies and understand client business processes rapidly.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to identify and act on business opportunities.
• Actively shares knowledge with peers and the broader OpenText and partner community.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be willing to work in shifts (ASPAC, EMEA, or US).
