Position Description

We are looking for an experienced back end web developer to join an exciting team in the food software industry ). We are a fast moving and friendly team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an expert PHP developer to move their career to the next level. You will be working alongside top level developers and digital experts on the ongoing development of our platform. This is a long term position with career growth opportunities and great salary.

Minimum 5 years experience as a web developer.

You must be able to understand wireframes, find and provide solutions and recommendations, structure the database relationship and develop the code structure. You will provide recommendations on the best solution and work with the front end web designers.

You will also be able to pick up existing code, understand the code and be able to continue the development. You will be able to think strategically and use best practices at all times.

You must be organized, have good communication and understand time frames. Agile methodology knowledge is important.

Skills:

  • 5+ years PHP
  • 5+ years MySQL
  • 5+ JavaScript
  • 5+ Reactjs
  • 2+ Ajax
  • 2+ years API integrations
  • Knowledge in php frameworks are highly desirable
  • Experience with any PHP framework is acceptable for this role
  • Good knowledge of front end languages (HTML, CSS, JQUERY)
  • Knowledge in code repositories (Github/Bitbucket)
