We are looking for a
Site Reliability Engineer
in our
Fintech Platform Operations
organization, responsible for ensuring the highest customer satisfaction possible for services delivered to our Cloud customers. As a senior member of the team covering Tier2 and Tier3 operational activities and collaborating with other members of the Platform Operations team distributed worldwide, you will ensure contractual SLAs are met, efficient standard methodologies are built and adhered to, knowledge within the team is maintained and up to date, partner concerns are given the right level of attention, and operations staff are provided with optimal environments to perform their work. You will need to think strategically about the overall business, review end-to-end processes and contribute to defining groundbreaking projects that will continue and expand its role as a best-in-class managed services, collaborating and working multi-functionally with teams across Nasdaq FinTech division including R&D, security, product support, and customer delivery.

• Test, plan, and deploy changes to our existing systems for operational excellence, as well as implementing new solutions to enhance our customer offerings
• Handle appropriate incidents (and problems) through to resolution, referring and raising to other resolver groups as required
• Facilitate planning and execution of disaster recovery tests and other BCP activities
• Ensure support for a culture of continuous improvement, including identifying areas for potentially improved automation and feeding back to relevant teams
• Drive the culture of "security first" and continuous improvements
• Identify, design, and implement technical and process improvements to improve service delivery metrics.
• Advanced level communication (escalation, collaboration with global team, influence /stakeholder mgmt.)

What We Expect

• 5+ years of relevant professional industry experience in managing 24x7x365 mission-critical environments
• 3 years+ Expertise in cloud technologies including areas such as one of the main cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI platform),
• Experience with monitoring tools .eg Datadog is nice to have
• 3 years+ Proven understanding and hands on experience of Various Linux distros.
• Knowledgeable in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge in ITIL, IBM MQ, Patching & Vulnerability Management is nice to have
• Strong understanding of Networking- TCP/IP, firewalls, VLAN, VPN
• Familiarity with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS is nice to have
• Experience of Terraform, Ansible, Bash or Python scripting is good to have

What Would Be Helpful

• AWS, Azure, OCI certifications
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification
• Linux certifications
• Knowledge in AI, and capable of using Copilot Github/Git/Python/MCP/Cloud(AWS) AI suit to build POC and business solution is nice to have
