JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees day-to-day plant activities and overall manufacturing strategy.
  • Directs achievement of production performance targets including production plan achievement, product quality, safety, inventory accuracy, equipment effectiveness/efficiency, and other manufacturing metrics.
  • Prepares budget; works within targets for cost of goods and meet manufacturing profitability target.
  • Leads effective maintenance of plant office, production and warehouse machines and equipment.
  • Manages and develops high performing team; evaluates personnel performance and training needs.
  • Spearheads plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives; ensures on-time completion/roll-out of projects and efficiency/process improvement initiatives.
  • Supports new product development launches and product requirement for marketing activities.
  • Ensures compliance to statutory regulations, industry standards, and internal/external quality management systems/certification; maintains and updates agreements with contractors.
  • Complies with PC Code of Ethics and PC standards, processes, and policies; exemplifies and reinforces PC Core Values among employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years senior manager/director level in a manufacturing plant operation and engineering; preferably in cosmetic, homecare or food industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing systems (e.g. QMS, cGMP, PM, OSH, ISO, FDA, DENR, DOLE and all regulating bodies in the Philippines).
  • Knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service, project management)
  • Skilled in MS Office, understanding of ERP system
  • Engineering graduate, preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering; graduate of any business management degree with minimum 5 years work experience as senior manager/director level in a manufacturing plant operations may be considered.
