Key Responsibilities:

  1. Record survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, sketches, and tracings.
  2. Analyzes control or survey data to ensure compliance with project specs and land survey standards.
  3. Lay out and recover stakes, marks, and monumentation.
  4. Prepare progress or technical reports.
  5. Monitor work progress and report to the Survey Head.
  6. Must be able to review and analyze field survey data, computations, and generate plans/reports.
  7. Maintains and ensure the reliability of surveying instruments.
