INSTRUMENT MAN Responsibility:

Instrument man is responsible for the upkeep and operation of various survey instruments and assists during survey activities in different stages of a project.

Responsibility:

• Assists the surveyor during stakeouts
• knows the parts of the surveying equipment and assembles/erect it properly
• Acts as Rod man: hold the leveling rod properly in order to sight on it or read it accurately.
• Acts as Chain man: assisting the surveyor with setting of precise locations and measurement of construction control lines, elevations, areas and contours for construction, topography, map making, land division.
• In-charge of the safe keep of all survey instruments.
• Planning of property boundaries using survey instruments before start of the construction based from relocation survey
• Conduct data on-site using surveying instruments and topographical surveys to determine ground elevation, geodetic grids, property boundaries and terrains dependent grids.
• Preparation of survey data and survey sheet evaluation including for verification of mathematical accuracy of collected data survey – both manual and computerized. Records data gathered during survey
• Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy.
• Inspect work for adherence to plans and specifications and provisions of the contract.
• Collaborating and working with project managers, construction crews, when necessary.

Qualification:

• At least High School Graduate
• Knowledgeable in Total Station, Level and GPS equipment
• With at least 2 years related work experience
• with proven work experience
• Flexible and willing to learn
• Proficient in CAD/ CIVIL 3D ( Cross sections and topographic map generation) is an advantage
• In -depth knowledge in all methods of land surveying.
• Highly analytical with strong problem solving and good team player
• Experience in civil and architectural projects is an advantage
• Priority will be given to those who can start immediately
• Willing to be assigned in Las Pinas City, or Sta. Rosa Laguna

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
