About the role
Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Preventive Maintenance professional to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Preventive Maintenance specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's facilities by proactively maintaining and repairing various building systems and equipment.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on a range of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other related equipment
- Identify and address potential issues before they become major problems, ensuring the continuous operation of client facilities
- Perform minor repairs and perform maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments to keep equipment running at optimal performance
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory management
- Collaborate with the broader facilities management team to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure the timely completion of all tasks
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to protect the wellbeing of occupants and the integrity of the facilities
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar preventive maintenance or building services role
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in the maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficient in the use of various hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the wider facilities team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call and emergency response as needed
