About the role

Makati Foundry Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. This full-time position is based in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila and will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings and models for various projects

  • Interpreting engineering specifications, schematics, and technical data to create accurate CAD drawings

  • Collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure drawings meet all technical requirements and industry standards

  • Maintaining and updating AutoCAD libraries, templates, and standards

  • Assisting in the implementation of design changes and revisions

  • Ensuring all AutoCAD files are properly organised and backed up

What we're looking for

  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, with a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar drafting role

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and design processes

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work

  • Familiarity with related design and modelling software, such as Revit or SolidWorks, would be an advantage

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Relevant educational qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
