Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Develop detailed designs and layouts for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for a project.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and construction drawings.
  • Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement.
  • Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permitting and approvals.
  • Prepare commissioning reports and as-built documentation.
  • Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to align design objectives with project goals.
Requirements
  • Experience with electrical design for PV systems and integration with existing electrical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Sketchup for system design.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports, design documents, and construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
  • Ability to develop BOMs and procurement specifications.
