Production Supervisor

Coordinates closely on a daily basis or as frequently as possible with the production manager and planning section for the daily, weekly, (or monthly) production target/machine plan/schedule for print/lam section and converting section.
Based on the production/machine schedule, make necessary arrangement for manpower/personnel planning. Prepares the manpower schedule and take the approval of the production manager. Sends copies to HR section, planning section, and COO. Posts the approved manpower schedule in the bulletin board.
Based on "job ticket", "production/machine schedule", and "IPS" coordinates and checks with the planning section, marketing section, ink section, warehouse section, print/lam supervisor, and converting supervisor the availability of cylinders, rubber rollers, inks, adhesives, solvents and all requested materials needed in producing the products as per job order (e.g., films, pallets, tapes, blades, cores, etc.).
Prepares material requisition and issuance (MRIS) for the required raw materials needed in printing and lamination processes based on production/machine schedule. Ask for the approval and signature of the production manager and send the approved MRIS to warehouse section for raw material issuance to production department.
Discusses and distributes the production plan/schedule daily and before the start of each shift schedule to the print/lam supervisor and converting supervisor for proper and timely execution of the targeted production/machine schedule.
Supervises and assists the print/lam supervisor and converting supervisor before and during production processes.
Prepares all forms, stickers, label, roll tags for production and machine use and make ready for distribution to the print/lam supervisor and converting supervisor.
Checks and monitors production output per "job ticket", "production/machine schedule", and "job order" (i.e., quantity, produced versus ordered/planned quantity)
Checks all excess raw materials, WIP, and finished goods stocks for transfer to other plant (main & annex), warehouse section with proper coordination with the planning section.
Ensures that preparation of all documents for the transfer of RM, WIP and FG to other plant (main & annex) were being arranged and the transfer is executed by the converting supervisor and RM/WIP controller.
Collects, evaluates, and analyses daily production reports coming from the print/lam supervisor and converting supervisor.
Checks and monitors daily attendance record of all production department personnel upon receipt of attendance records from the print/lam supervisor and converting supervisor. Submits the summary report to production manager for evaluation.
Assesses and evaluates all production personnel for skills & attitudes training program and recommendation for promotions and salary increases/incentives. Submits the summary of recommendations to the production manager for proper courses of action.
Controls and monitors the implementation of production department's systems & procedures and to execute all the programs, policies and short-term/long-term strategic departmental plan/target/objectives of the production department under the leadership of the production manager.
Controls and contains the discipline of every personnel in production department through effective and strict implementation and enforcement of company rules and regulations, ISO QMS, 5S, and GMP. Recommends suspensions or dismissals of erring employees with the approval of production manager and HR section.
Reads and checks all information in the logbooks (e.g., machine logbooks, supervisor's logbook, set-up crew logbook, core-cutting logbook, etc.).
Prepares summary reports to production manager and discuss all concerns encountered (i.e., downtime, waste & output, quality issues, machine efficiency, accidents, emergency cases, un-towards incidents, personnel problems, etc.).
Receives and fill-ups "notice of quality deviation" report (NQD) upon investigation of quality non-conformance together with the print/lam supervisor, converting supervisors and production manager.
Prepares and submits reports such as daily/weekly/monthly attendance reports, machine efficiency, daily/weekly/monthly production output & waste reports, and other related reports to the production manager.
