About the Role

We are seeking an AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely from the Philippines. This role is focused on building, maintaining, and optimising our cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines, with a strong emphasis on operational support for production workloads. You will work extensively with AWS services, microservices architectures, and serverless solutions such as Lambda, ensuring stability, reliability, and scalability across client environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage scalable solutions using AWS compute, storage, and networking services.
  • Provide operational support for AWS Lambda and microservices in production environments.
  • Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support modern DevOps practices.
  • Manage DNS, networking, and routing configurations across cloud and hybrid setups.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring uptime and resilience.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed best practices.
  • Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to strengthen future operations.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer, with a strong AWS focus.
  • Proficient across AWS compute, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and microservices architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of DNS, routing, and network troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong troubleshooting and operational support background.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Desirable

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Exposure to security frameworks and compliance standards.

Working Hours

Aligned with Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT).

Compensation

  • ₱70,000–₱100,000/month, depending on experience and skills.
  • Flexible remote work arrangement.
