Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through client visits, inquiries, and market research.
  • Present, promote, and sell company products and services to existing and potential clients.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, technical presentations, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions with clients.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of proposals.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and closing of sales deals.
  • Maintain and update client records, sales reports, and forecasts.
  • Monitor project progress after sales and address client concerns or technical issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term client relationships.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical sales standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related field).
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in technical sales or engineering-related sales (preferred).
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic costing/quotation preparation.
  • Willing to travel and conduct field work as required.
  • With driver's license (preferred but not required).
