What you'll be doing

  • Operate backhoe equipment to excavate, load, and move materials at construction sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your team, and the work environment
  • Collaborate with other construction personnel to coordinate operations and achieve project goals
  • Maintain detailed records of work activities, equipment usage, and any reported issues
  • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Backhoe Operator in the construction industry
  • Proven ability to safely operate and maintain backhoe equipment
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and equipment operation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with the wider construction team
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of the job

Job Type: Full-time
