General Accounting Analyst/ General Ledger (GL) Analyst

Makati | Full-Time | Finance & Accounting

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced General Accounting Analyst/ General Ledger Analyst to join our client's Finance team. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records by managing general ledger transactions, preparing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations. This position is ideal for someone with strong accounting knowledge, sharp analytical skills, and great attention to detail.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
  • Perform account analysis and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and policies
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts
  • Partner with other departments to ensure accurate financial data

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in general ledger accounting
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
