Role Overview

The IT Team Lead is responsible for guiding and supporting the IT team to deliver reliable technical solutions, maintain systems and infrastructure, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This role blends technical leadership, project coordination, and team management to meet organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and support the IT team in daily tasks and professional growth.
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Foster collaboration and a positive team environment.

Technical Oversight & Support

  • Provide guidance on IT operations and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Oversee system maintenance, updates, and infrastructure stability.
  • Ensure adherence to IT standards, documentation, and best practices.

Project Coordination

  • Participate in planning and executing IT projects.
  • Define tasks, track milestones, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and manage risks.

Process Improvement

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Promote documentation, training, and shared knowledge.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with business units to understand technology needs.
  • Provide status updates and technical recommendations.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and internal standards.
  • Partner with security teams to manage risks and incidents.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Experience

  • Proven experience in IT operations, system administration, or technical support.
  • Previous team coordination or leadership experience preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of networks, servers, cloud services, and security fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with IT support tools, ticketing systems, and common enterprise technologies.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Team player with proactive attitude.
