As R&D Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for:

  1. Assist the R&D Head in all functions and service delivery.

  2. Provide assistance to the business as instructed by its officers and management.

  3. Communications and Working relations – Internal communication with cross-

functional team.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1.) Conduct research on recipes/applications for existing Hero Products and on-going

New Product Development (NPD) projects.

2.) Preparation of recipe ingredients, product recipe/formulation documents and

execution for product development

3.) Mainly in-charge in encoding, documentation, record-keeping of the recipe

formulations and standardization for existing and newly developed products.

4.) Assist in preparation of technical documents such as but not limited to product

specifications and procedure/directions to use of newly developed products.

5.) Assist the R&D Officer in the preparation of samples for various product applications

and sales sample requests.

6.) Performs food tasting and sensory evaluation for new recipes/product

applications/sample requests by other departments.

7.) Assist in product demos and video/photo shoots as needed.

8.) Performs other R&D related duties as required by the R&D Head.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years experience in Baking
  • Graduate of Hotel & Restaurant Management, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent
  • Passion for recipe research and development is a must
  • At least 1-2 years experience in R&D work from food / baking industry
  • With good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
