QA Electrical Engineer handles the performance monitoring of the project quality assurance activities. He/she reviews contract specifications, identifies the project specific requirements and ensures the timely development and approval of quality procedures and plans.

Job Description:

  • Manages and maintains the QA/QC program for the project.
  • Coordinates site quality problems with the Project Manager.
  • Reviews and approves construction procedure related to quality control.
  • Monitors subcontractor inspections and tests.
  • Ensures all QA/QC documents of the project are complete for authority turnover.
  • Provides support and assistance in the verification of quality inspection and testing results/activities of project installation.
  • Performs in-process and final inspection and testing during fabrication, construction, and installation activities of the assigned project to ensure that materials and workmanship conform to relevant specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Monitors and records the close-out of punch list items.
  • Facilitates project closure and turnover of quality documents for completion.

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Registered Engineer
  • At least 1 year work experience in Quality Assurance/In the same field.
  • Good working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, approval process and standard in construction.
