AS TO ELIGIBILITIES, GACDC is ISO certified by International Standards Certifications Philippines, Inc. and was granted Triple A LICENSE by the PHIL. CONTRACTORS ACCREDITATION BOARD IN 1992.

We are looking for a very dependable SAFETY OFFICER who shall be responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employees' safety at work. His main duty is to ensure that the company is in compliance and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines. He will work tirelessly to ensure that every employee is well-informed about safety protocols, ensuring that each worker has the tools they need to succeed in a safe workplace.

The tasks and responsibilities include risk assessments, policy development, training, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance. He shall be a dedicated protector of occupational health and well-being, and aim to champion the cause of safety through a combination of proactive strategies and reactive measures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plan and implement OHS policies and programs.

· Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics.

· Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis.

· Review existing policies and procedures.

· Ensures that all HSE protocols are observed in the field.

· Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for regulatory compliance.

· Conduct daily toolbox meeting and safety orientation for new employees.

· Conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventative measures.

· Acts as Secretary of the Health and Safety Committee headed by the Project Manager or Project In-Charge.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. The applicant must be a graduate of any four-year related course;

  1. Must have at least 3 - 5 years of work experience in the related field is required for this position with COSH Training Certificate and other relevant trainings on safety;

  2. Experience in land development & high rise or building construction is needed;

  3. Must be computer literate (with knowledge in MS Word and Excel);

  4. Must have work experiences in construction undertakings;

  5. Willing to be assigned at the Batangas construction project;
