About the role

Silicon Valley Computer Group Phils Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Branch Head to join our team in Ormoc City, Leyte. This full-time role will be responsible for supporting the Branch Head in overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of our government-focused office. As an integral member of our leadership team, the Assistant Branch Head will play a key role in driving the continued growth and success of our federal government services business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Branch Head in managing the branch's operations, including budgeting, resource planning and staffing
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to expand the branch's client base and service offerings
  • Oversee the coordination of project delivery, ensuring consistent high-quality service and on-time completion
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Represent the branch in meetings with key government stakeholders and clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations and internal policies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role within the federal government sector
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, contract management and regulatory compliance
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a government-focused business unit or team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as business administration, public administration or a related discipline
