Santen Philippines is expanding, and we are seeking a talented Assistant Product Manager (APM) to be based in Manila.
The APM plays a key role in supporting the development, launch, and continuous improvement of products that align with our strategic goals and customer needs. Working closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders, the APM helps drive product initiatives from concept to execution.

Job Description
What you will do
- Product Strategy & Planning: Support the Product Manager in defining product vision and roadmaps by conducting market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and business case assessments.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain) and external partners to translate requirements into execution and ensure timely delivery.
- Market Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and data sources (such as IQVIA and field visits) to identify trends, pain points, and new product opportunities.
- Launch & Enablement: drive Go-to-Market (GTM) plans by creating sales enablement materials, conducting training, and coordinating post-launch reviews.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor KPIs (adoption, revenue, retention) and utilize data analytics to report on success metrics and recommend continuous product improvements to leadership.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or Product Management certification is a plus.
- Professional Experience: 1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or project coordination. Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
- Marketing & Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of product lifecycle management principles and the ability to effectively manage the 5 Ps of Marketing (Product, Place, Price, People, Promotion).
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to use data and logic to drive decision-making and connect business strategy to tactical execution.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Mindset & Adaptability: A customer-centric professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, capable of managing multiple priorities while focusing on solving user problems.
