Cost Accounting Clerk

NOTE: WILLING TO BE ASSIGNED IN: CABUYAO/CALAMBA BRANCH OF IONICS

I. JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of Cost Accounting Supervisor, the Cost Accounting Clerk is responsible for reporting of accurate and perpetual inventory records, variance reporting and assisting physical inventories.

GENERAL FUNCTION

1. Prepares monthly inventory reconciliation.

2. Checks inventory-related transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP and company procedures.

3. Participates and assist in annual physical count.

4. Runs monthly inventory transactions posting to General Ledger via S21 Advanced Financial Integrator (AFI).

5. Generates inventory and consumption details per general ledger.

6. Downloading of inventory consumption details from System21.

7. Reviews and analyze AFI entries in General Ledger and prepare necessary adjusting journal entries if any.

REPORTING FUNCTION

1. Prepares, analyze and track monthly excess and obsolete inventories, monthly material savings(PPV) and all other inventory reserves.

2. Keeps the following records/reports:

a. Inventory balances/ schedules(with aging) - 1 st day AEOM

b. MRP Report (Excess Inventory) - 1 st day AEOM

c. Inventory Movement (AFI Report) - 3 rd day AEOM

d. Monthly Inventory Trending (Increased/Decreased) - 2 nd day AEOM

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting Clerk: 1 year (Preferred)
