Position: Staff Pharmacist

Location: TeleCure Medical and Diagnostic Center, 221 Tanjeco St., Barangay San Vicente (Poblacion), Malolos City, Bulacan

Type: Full-time

Reports To: Branch Manager/COO

Role Overview

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of TeleCure Pharmacy. You will ensure all pharmaceutical services are safe, effective, and compliant with regulations. A key focus of this role is managing the PhilHealth GAMOT program, where you will ensure all dispensed medicines are properly documented and reported according to PhilHealth requirements. You will also handle medication procurement, manage inventory, accurately dispense medications, and provide essential counseling to our patients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Pharmacy Operations & Dispensing

  • Ensure daily pharmacy operations comply with DOH, FDA, and PhilHealth regulations.
  • Accurately dispense prescribed medications and provide patients with counseling on proper usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and patient safety protocols.

PhilHealth GAMOT Program Management

  • Manage PhilHealth GAMOT claims and compliance, ensuring all dispensed medicines are accurately documented and reported.
  • Coordinate with the Medical Records Team to align GAMOT documentation with Konsulta patient records.
  • Monitor GAMOT allocation utilization to ensure fair distribution and timely replenishment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PhilHealth audits and inspections related to the GAMOT program.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Procure and manage the inventory of medicines, ensuring essential drugs are always available and that expired stock is minimized.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and coordinate with the Supply Chain Supervisor for restocking.
  • Monitor controlled substances in compliance with dangerous drug regulations.

Patient & Partner Engagement

  • Provide medication counseling and promote rational drug use among patients.
  • Support medical missions and Konsulta caravans by ensuring medicines are available and properly documented.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain all required DOH and FDA pharmacy licenses and permits.
  • Ensure all pharmacy records—both printed and electronic—are complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory and internal pharmacy reports.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
  • May be assigned to different locations or facilities as needed to support patient care and organizational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.

License: Must be a Licensed Pharmacist.

Experience: Experience in a retail, community, or hospital pharmacy setting is required.

Knowledge: Strong knowledge of PhilHealth GAMOT and YAKAP program guidelines is a significant advantage.

Skills: Strong background in inventory management and pharmacy compliance.

Communication: Excellent communication and counseling skills for patient engagement.

Personal Attributes: High sense of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Work Schedule

Days: Monday to Saturday

Hours: 8 hours per day
