About the Role

This position is responsible for air support and travel coordination. The Air Specialist oversees the air travel process and coordinates air travel logistics of individual reservations for flight related needs. They will communicate with operations and account management daily to answer questions, provide updates, and work on any necessary changes. This individual MUST be SABRE trained and having worked in SABRE for at least the past 6 months. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, fulfill customer satisfaction, and drive optimal results. Additional traits include teamwork and enthusiastic participation in Road Rebel Culture.


What You'll Do

Communications

  • Communicate verbally at a high level regarding all services to present best options (accent training preferred).
  • Maintain a positive attitude and solution-oriented mentality.
  • Be proactive and help guide clients with our travel expertise.
  • Foster new relationships, repair damaged ones, and follow up on vendor communications. 
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality with client information. 
  • Stay flexible and adapt to constant client-driven changes. 

Operational Proficiency

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with the GDS platform SABRE is required. Please do not apply without this.
  • Ability to ticket bulk and individual reservations in SABRE is preferred, but not required.
  • Study routes, regulations, and consider cost, availability, and convenience of different types of carriers to select the most advantageous route and carrier.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail while staying ahead on project deadlines. 
  • Assist in any conflict resolution. 
  • Work with the Market Manager to achieve market goals.
  • May require additional hours during busy season
