Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing internal audits across branches and departments.
  • Review and verify accounting records, financial statements, and transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assess adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Gather and analyze audit data, prepare working papers, and maintain audit documentation.
  • Support senior auditors in conducting fieldwork and follow-ups on audit findings.
  • Participate in identifying control weaknesses and recommending improvements.
  • Prepare initial drafts of audit reports and summarizations of audit observations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate audit activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity regarding audit information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in auditing, accounting, or finance preferably in a banking or financial institution.
  • Knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
