Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing internal audits across branches and departments.
- Review and verify accounting records, financial statements, and transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Assess adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Gather and analyze audit data, prepare working papers, and maintain audit documentation.
- Support senior auditors in conducting fieldwork and follow-ups on audit findings.
- Participate in identifying control weaknesses and recommending improvements.
- Prepare initial drafts of audit reports and summarizations of audit observations.
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate audit activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity regarding audit information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in auditing, accounting, or finance preferably in a banking or financial institution.
- Knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
