Job Description

Ladurée Philippines is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to ensure the integrity of our financial records, operational processes, and compliance across all store and back-office functions. The role is critical in strengthening internal controls, minimizing risks, and supporting management in maintaining high standards of governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular and surprise audits of restaurant operations and head office functions
  • Review cash handling, POS access, tendering of sales, discounts, voids, and refunds
  • Audit inventory, breakages, wastage, and variances across stores
  • Reconcile daily sales vs bank deposits and treasury reports
  • Review compliance with company policies, SOPs, and internal controls
  • Assist in monitoring DOLE and BIR compliance in coordination with Accounting and HR
  • Investigate incidents involving theft, fraud, or policy violations
  • Prepare audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and recommendations
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans
  • Act as an internal consultant to improve processes and controls

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA is an advantage but not required
  • At least 3–5 years experience in internal audit, preferably in restaurant, retail, or hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of inventory controls, cash management, and POS systems
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills
  • High integrity, independent, and detail-oriented
  • Willing to conduct store visits and surprise audits
