Main Responsibilities:

l Develop and ensure that all designs conform to sound engineering principles based on current best practice, IEC and The Philippines Standards.

l Both undertake and peer review design calculations and documentation for projects including the provision of expertise in the areas of earthing design, LV systems, DC systems, lightning design, lightning design, cable design, insulation coordination and other electrical engineering tasks.

l Provide inputs/documentation to assist in estimation associated with electrical engineering, preliminary/ concept designs and bill of quantities.

l Undertake scope definition, prepare contractors scope documents and participate in tender reviews.

l Develop technical scopes of work for plant and equipment related to renewables and substation projects, including but not limited switchgear, transformers, and buildings.

l Provide mentoring and professional development to design and engineering team to increase knowledge and skills of all team members.

l Have the ability to communicate with NGCP about the Philippines Grid code.

Basic Requirements:

l Bachelor Degree in Electrical, with registered electrical engineer in professional regulation commission .

l Skills and experience with electrical design and solar project execution;

l Resident on site, at least 5 years working experience in industrial plant or construction, able to handle emergencies, working experience in IFC-funded enterprises preferred;

l Strong communication and coordination skills, proficient in English communication and letter writing, good health;
