Valenzuela City, Philippines Flexible Packaging Products Corporation Full time ₱600,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year
  1. Provides assistance/help to Immediate Superiors for the achievement of Quality objectives.
  2. Conducts  testings  as  required  to  develop  suitable  substitutes  for existing raw materials like resin, film, adhesive, and others.
  3. Checks specifications of new and existing raw materials subject for testings.
  4. Coordinates, through the R & D Manager, with other sections and departments regarding as follows :

4.1.  Converting/Film Prod. Depts. on schedules of testings.

4.2.  Warehouse/Prod. Planning  Sections  to   determine   availability and request of materials.

4.3.  Purchasing  Section  for  purchase  of  materials   and   products necessary for testing.

4.4.  Sales Group on detailed specifications of requested materials or  products for testing/development as well as testing priorities and due dates.

  1. Informs  and  gives  emphasis  on the following to concerned sections and departments :

5.1  Sales Group

Submission of customer's sample including material availability and timelines 

Standard material specifications and production process for approved samples

New jobs not approved for mass production based on material cost and machine capability

   Customer's requirements/specifications and evaluation for product stability.

Technical service and appointment upon customer's request.

5.2  Converting/Production Group

Issuance of material specifications and production prices for newly approved customer sample

Updated list of approved raw materials/alternatives and corresponding products application.

R & D schedule for machine trial and testing of new raw materials or customer sample

  1. Ensures utmost confidentiality of research data and findings.
  2. Performs everyday duties while ensuring compliance to the existing Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedure.
  3. Performs every day duties in accordance with accepted work safety practices and standards, established by the Company in compliance with the provisions of existing laws and government standards.
  4. Performs every day duties in accordance with accepted product safety practices and standards, established by the Company in compliance with the provisions of existing laws and government standards.
  5. Performs cross functional activities as needed.
  6. Attends meetings, orientation/seminars/training activities as required or as instructed by superiors or as the need arises.
  7. Performs other duties that maybe assigned in relation to the current job.

Education/Experience:


1 - experience in the field, especially from a packaging company/Fresh Graduate

Bachelor's/College Degree in Chemical Engineering/ B.S Chemistry or any related Engineering Course
