As the Senior Building Maintenance Engineer at LCC - Liberty Commercial Center Inc.', you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the company's facilities in Sorsogon, Bicol Region. What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance activities across the company's facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and structural components
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to proactively address potential issues
  • Monitor and respond to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of problems
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers to coordinate repair and renovation projects
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenditures
  • Identify and recommend improvements to the company's maintenance processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a Building Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the commercial or retail sector
  • Proven expertise in the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and structural components
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and address a wide range of maintenance issues
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, facilities management, or a related field
