Backend Engineer

This is a remote position in Sorsogon City where you can work seamlessly with backend engineers on our backend development projects.

  • Mentor and train junior developers to improve code quality through test automation and participate in code reviews.
  • Contribute to our continuous enhancement process by suggesting improvements and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Expert proficiency in TypeScript (Node.js ecosystem) and advanced experience in Python, including popular frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, and Django.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL schema, proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design, with experience in Docker, microservices, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven systems.
Requirements
  • 6+ years experience in backend development.
