JOB SUMMARY

  • Document all phases of the Engineering and Maintenance Department.
  • Set schedules, implement training and development programs, direct the work of others, and conduct performance reviews and appraisals.
  • Development and nurturing of a high-performing team.
  • Nurturing a high-performing team rooted with KQFI core values.
  • Compliance with government regulatory agencies and other requirements from customers such as 5S and assist in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
  • Monitoring team output to ensure delivery of project tasks to standards within agreed deadlines and budgets

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the plant's maintenance function, ensuring the highest standard of equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee equipment preventive maintenance program.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and ensure resources are in place for planned and unplanned repairs.
  • Oversee plant modifications, upgrades, and new installation to support production requirements.
  • Lead technical trouble shooting and RCA for equipment failures.
  • Ensure Engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications.
  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, RAC Technicians, engineers and support staff.
  • Manage team performance, set objectives, and support career development through training and succession planning.
  • Comply with government regulatory agencies and other requirements from customers such as 5S, and assist in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
  • Ensures all maintenance and engineering activities comply with safety, health and environment.

  • Continuously improve maintenance processes through innovation and technology adoption.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.

  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Mechanical Engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food processing and consumer packaged goods industries
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory/manager and people management experience
  • Significant hands-on experience in leading engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Significant record of achievement in lean manufacturing support, continuous improvement, and breakdown reduction.
  • Knowledge in Generator Set, Power Transformer, WTF operation and maintenance
  • Knowledge in Energy conservation program
  • Knowledge in Food Safety Management Systems (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000:2018,etc.)
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to create a culture of accountability and cross-departmental teamwork.
