About the role

As an IT Business Analyst (Financial) at Rising Tide Digital, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the finance department and the technology team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing effective solutions, and driving the implementation of finance-related IT systems and processes. This full-time position is based in Mandaluyong City Metro Manila, with opportunities for remote work.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into comprehensive business requirements
  • Analyze existing finance systems and processes, and identify areas for improvement
  • Design and document functional and technical specifications for new or enhanced finance-related IT solutions
  • Coordinate with the development team to ensure the successful implementation of finance-focused IT systems
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to finance personnel on new systems and processes
  • Continuously monitor and optimize finance-related IT systems to improve efficiency and user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of finance systems with other business domains

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in a finance-focused role
  • With experience in handling loans and lending projects/finance background.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
  • Has handled enterprise-level or multi-system projects, particularly complex projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically
  • Proficient in business analysis methodologies, such as requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story creation
  • Experience in designing and implementing finance-related IT solutions, including ERP systems
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
