Job Summary:

A Sales Associate acts as the primary point of contact for customers in retail or service environments. Their goal is to provide exceptional service, drive sales, and maintain the store's visual standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greeting customers, assessing their needs, and providing personalized product recommendations.
  • Sales Execution: Achieving individual and team sales targets through upselling and cross-selling related items.
  • Transaction Processing: Operating point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash/credit payments, and processing returns or exchanges.
  • Store Maintenance: Restocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and ensuring the sales floor remains clean and safe.
  • Problem Resolution: Professionally addressing customer complaints and inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Inventory Support: Assisting with stock counts, receiving new shipments, and reporting low inventory levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse customer bases.
  • Product Knowledge: The ability to learn and clearly explain features and benefits of products.
  • Basic Math: Proficiency in performing simple calculations for transactions and handling cash.
  • Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights (often up to 25–50 lbs) for extended periods.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required; some roles may prefer a college degree for specialized sales.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php695.00 per day
