Finance Controller is responsible for the over-all administration of Finance, specifically responsible for the efficient administration of financial and fiscal aspects of the company. Duties and Responsibilities
a. Allocates adequate supply of capital to each business activity of the company.
b. Monitors and analyze cash flow.
c. Ratifies plans for long-term capital financing required by each business unit.
d. Reviews feasibility studies for projects needing large outlay of funds.
e. Recommends and execute approved budget.
f. Corroborate credit terms and manner of collections.
g. Formulates procedures for proper safekeeping of daily collections.
h. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry security.
i. Conducts audits on safety and security, loss prevention, risk management and accountability implementations.
j. Audits/monitors losses and pilferages among business units.
k. Identifies possible risks base on results of Audits.
l. Recommends loss prevention system based on audit.
m. Conducts investigations on losses and pilferages.
n. Supports Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in strategic financial management, risk assessment and risk management of the enterprise.
o. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
a. Education: Bachelor's degree in accountancy with continuous professional education
b. Training / Knowledge / Certification
Certified Public Accountant
Training on Project Management
Knowledge on Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS), Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
Training on budget and cost control
c. Experience: At least 8 years of experience in senior management capacity in accounting, budgeting, cost control principle, including generally accepted accounting principles
