TASQ is looking for a Software Development Engineer (Java Enterprise Edition). Location: Manila (BGC, Mckinley, or Cybergate, Mandaluyong)Pre-screening: Phone interview. Applicants must be willing to work on shifting schedules.

Job Description:Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application software across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements, and development work to ensure optimal software performance. Responsibilities:Independently analyze, design, develop, and test application components, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Participate actively in team discussions and contribute solutions to work-related problems. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth software operation. Troubleshoot and debug issues to resolve defects.

Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and standards. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications:Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.

Strong understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Additional Information:Minimum of 2 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. This position is based in Manila.
