impex coordinator

An IMPEX Coordinator (Import/Export Coordinator) is responsible for managing all aspects of a company's international shipping operations. This role ensures that goods are imported and exported efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with all domestic and international customs laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience (typically 1+ years) working in import/export operations, customs brokerage, or freight forwarding.

Skills:

• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and global trade compliance (e.g., INCOTERMS).
• Documentation Expertise: Proficiency in preparing and handling all trade and shipping documentation.
• System Proficiency: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (like SAP or Oracle) and logistics management software.
• Communication: Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills to liaise effectively with brokers, carriers, and international parties.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is critical for accurate documentation and customs clearance.
