Job Summary

  • Process both cash and non-cash customer transactions accurately
  • Enter purchases into the cash register or POS
  • Accept cash/PO payments according to established procedure
  • Counts money, gives change and issues receipt for payments received
  • Maintains sufficient amounts of change in the cash drawer.
  • Ensuring all payments are properly documented and supported
  • Follow cash drop procedures meticulously and maintain accurate records of cash handling activities
  • Prepare cash reports and balances cash drawer and receipts, documents discrepancies and any additional reports as required.
  • Trains new cashiers
  • Contribute to the station's  cleanliness by keeping the cashier's booth neat and stocked with necessary supplies
  • Ensure no shortages
  • Conduct dipstick readings to monitor inventory level
  • Authorize receiver of  fuel delivery on behalf of the station supervisor during his/her absence.
  • Perform other tasks as  assigned by the Station Supervisor

Requirements:

  • At least College level, or Completed High School or equivalent certification
  • Previous experience in the Petroleum Industry preferred; experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous
  • Willing to undergo training if no prior experience
  • Proficient in basic math and computation
  • Honest, Hardworking, and Responsible
  • Available to start ASAP
