QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of auditing experience (internal or external), ideally in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Strong understanding of audit principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in data analysis, software, and writing reports
  • Willing to travel to Valenzuela and Antipolo to do the tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct audits of financial statements, internal controls (such as reconciliation of bank statements to records, accounting systems, billing, and inventory

  • Inspect account books and financial records for accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations.

  • Assess risk management procedures and suggest improvements.

  • Perform follow-up audits to verify corrective actions have been implemented.

  • Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and controls.

  • Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure timely payments (if applicable).

  • Perform a post-event audit to validate the authenticity (checking the receipts, if official and issued by legitimate vendors)

  • Assess market fairness by comparing the submitted costs with prevailing market rates to detect overpricing or fraud

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations

  • Check and validate the daily cash vouchers and emergency purchases, ensuring proper authorization by checking signatures
