Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from project initiation to final engineering specifications.
  • Prepare, review, and validate engineering drawings, technical documents, and design calculations, ensuring compliance with local standards and regulations.

  • Oversee the design and planning of core water supply facilities, including:

  • Deep Wells

  • Chlorination Facilities
  • Water Reservoirs
  • Pumping Stations
  • Review and interpret financial reports (e.g., income statements and cash flow statements) to monitor project budget health and overall profitability.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to approved schedules.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies throughout the design, construction, and operational phases of projects.
  • Liaise with government agencies and LGUs to secure necessary permits, approvals, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and concise project status reports to Senior Management and the Korean Headquarters, with sensitivity to cultural communication styles.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company standards for professional integrity, accountability, and punctuality.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Must possess a valid Professional Civil Engineer (PRC) License.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in water and/or wastewater project planning and detailed design.

  • Proven experience in the planning and/or design of all four (4) required facilities:

  • Deep Wells

  • Chlorination Facilities
  • Water Reservoirs
  • Pumping Stations
  • Excellent written and spoken English for technical documentation and contractual communication.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for reviewing and interpreting technical drawings.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas such as:

  • SUMIF / SUMIFS

  • COUNTIF / COUNTIFS
  • VLOOKUP
  • IF / IFERROR
  • Ability to interpret financial reports for budget tracking and project evaluation (report preparation not required).
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strict adherence to deadlines (non-negotiable).

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction supervision or project management for water/wastewater projects.
  • Background in risk management related to water infrastructure assets.
  • Exposure to smart water systems such as SCADA, GIS, or other software/network management systems.
  • Experience coordinating with Philippine government agencies and LGUs for permits and approvals.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting to international stakeholders, particularly Korean senior management.
