Position Title: Foreman Electrician

Department: Electrical / Engineering

Reports To: Project Manager / MEPFS Head

Job Summary:

The Foreman Electrician is responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical works on-site, ensuring that installations, maintenance, and repairs are carried out in compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. This role involves leading a team of electricians, scheduling tasks, monitoring quality, and coordinating with other trades to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Allocate work assignments and monitor progress to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure adherence to safety codes, company policies, and project requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to technical problems on-site.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other foremen to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure availability of tools, materials, and equipment required for electrical works.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and manpower deployment.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure the team adheres to occupational health and safety regulations.
• Train, guide, and evaluate electricians and helpers to improve work quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Vocational/Technical Diploma or Certification in Electrical Technology or related field.
• Can provide a team at least 10 electricians
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical works, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and installation of electrical systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
