We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Assets Officer to join the dynamic team at Chelsea Shipping Corp. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the accounting, tracking, and management of the Group's fixed assets. This includes ensuring accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of fixed asset transactions, depreciation, and disposals. The role requires collaboration with various departments to gather necessary information and compliance with relevant accounting standards

What you'll be doing (MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Fixed Asset Accounting
  • Depreciation Calculation
  • Asset Tracking and Verification
  • Capital Expenditure Analysis
  • Financial Reporting
  • Policy Compliance
  • Documentation and Record-keeping

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
  • Minimum three (3) years of fixed asset accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
