Job Description:

This role requires versatility in both pastry preparation and general kitchen duties, including food prep, cleaning, and assisting chefs as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pastries and baked goods while being comfortable supporting broader kitchen operations. Provide courteous and professional service to customers by creating quality food while adhering to food safety and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Properly handle, label, and store all food items to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
  • Inspect and sanitize kitchen stations before and after use to ensure readiness and hygiene
  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and store procedures
  • Stretch and prepare dough in accordance with standard quality procedures
  • Cook and assemble food products, including sauces and other components, following store preparation guidelines
  • Maintain consistent communication with kitchen supervisors and team leads to address any kitchen-related issues or concerns
  • Prepare and portion desserts such as soft serve mix, tiramisu, and other specialty or seasonal offerings, ensuring proper consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety and store quality standards
  • Monitor baking supplies and inform the manager of any shortages
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a Bachelor's Degree holder of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Management, or any 4-year course
  • Proven experience in a kitchen setting, with a focus on pastry preparation
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and hygiene standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good time management and ability to multitask under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
