Job Description

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will deliver frontline support to live streaming customers by troubleshooting connectivity, network, and webcam issues. You will ensure seamless service quality through proactive problem-solving, technical expertise, and customer-focused communication.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of ISP structure and network technologies, including IP address, port, network protocol, port forwarding, LAN, and WAN
  • Experience in a technical support role, ideally within live streaming, ISP, or network technology contexts
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a remote network environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical individuals
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Resilience and determination in finding solutions to customer issues
  • Knowledge of live streaming software (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs) is a plus

Your Daily Tasks

  • Provide frontline technical support to live streaming customers to resolve issues related to internet connectivity, webcams, Ozolio service, and other network components
  • Collaborate with Support Specialists on escalated support tickets, applying a problem-solving mindset and technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot ISP-related issues that may affect the quality and stability of live streams
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of webcam specifications, settings, and best practices for optimal streaming quality
  • Configure and optimize network settings for live streaming, addressing factors such as latency, packet loss, jitter, and other elements affecting streaming quality
  • Understand video encoding processes and technologies, and offer support and advice to optimize live stream quality
  • Troubleshoot website embedding of live streams and resolve related issues
  • Develop and maintain technical guides and FAQs to assist customers in resolving common issues
  • Partner with the product development team to share user feedback and insights to improve the live streaming platform
