About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled Google Ads & SEO Performance Specialist to drive lead generation and search visibility across a group of interconnected B2B brands in the industrial, warehousing, and manufacturing sectors.
Your primary mandate is lead generation through Google Ads, supported by strategic SEO improvements across several WordPress websites. You'll take ownership of audits, optimisation, tracking, reporting, and content creation - with the freedom to work independently and shape your own processes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on execution, thrives in a low-micromanagement environment, and can confidently manage multi-account performance while keeping communication clear and proactive.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Paid Search (Primary Focus)
- Oversee and optimise multiple Google Ads accounts with a combined spend of $5K/month
- Daily review account structure, keyword activity, negative keyword hygiene, bidding, and landing page alignment
- Improve lead volume (goal: grow from 10–12 leads/week to 15/week)
- Run A/B tests on ads, extensions, and landing page variants
- Identify waste, improve cost-efficiency, and scale what's working
- Provide recommendations for budget allocation and campaign prioritisation
- Conduct SEO audits across several WordPress sites
- Deliver a 3-6 month SEO roadmap including technical fixes, content opportunities, and quick wins
- Review rankings, crawl issues, metadata, site structure, and internal linking
- Research competitor gaps and suggest content or structural improvements
- Work alongside the developer for implementation (as needed)
- Deliver monthly performance reports (PDF or Looker Studio) with insights and next steps
- Provide weekly updates summarising progress, learnings, and priorities
- Communicate performance drivers clearly - no fluff, just meaningful insights
- Work with a developer (for Site/SEO fixes), a content provider, and internal marketing support
- Participate in structured fortnightly check-ins
- Use email and Trello as primary communication and task management tools
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years' experience in digital marketing, with deep expertise in Google Ads
- Strong understanding of lead-gen optimisation, quality score, landing page intent, and tracking setup
- Confidence running campaigns for industrial, manufacturing or B2B markets (preferred)
- Ability to independently diagnose problems and propose solutions
- Competence conducting SEO audits and forming actionable strategies
- High attention to detail with a structured, organised working style
- Clear communicator who can explain performance simply and logically
- Proactive mindset
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience with GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio
- Familiarity with WordPress, Search Console, Merchant Centre
- Understanding of CRO, keyword clustering, and content brief creation
- Comfort working with multi-brand portfolios
