Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Automation Testing using Selenium and Appium
  • SQL and API experience
  • Amenable to work in a Hybrid 2x onsite BGC Taguig and for Dayshift schedule
  • Can start ASAP or 30 days

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure every feature developed by the team is tested
  • Translate user stories into testing and automation requirements
  • Feed the team with detailed information on any defects found, and help the Scrum Master and Product Owner to prioritize defects
  • Develop, enhance and execute automated scripts using recommended tools and framework, as per acceptance criteria identified from Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) approach
  • Tester is a gate keeper and has final decision if a feature is completed
  • Record and track defects, and drive to resolution
  • Strives to automate and maintain tests
  • Work with the team to ensure all aspects of the system have proper risk-based testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality (unit, integration, API, accessibility, functional, regression, performance, security, release)
  • Works with the IT and operations to run tests in production environments after deployment to ensure quality
  • Ensure that automation scripts (and test cases) are articulated and structured well to enable rapid execution by any other team members, as required
  • Knows the product vision and works closely with the designers and the Product Owner to translate their vision into tests
