· Ensures accuracy of monthly computation of manufacturing cost as basis of transfer price forwarded to branches. Computes other product costs as necessary i.e, Activity Based Costing (ABC) analysis.

· Ensures high standards of internal control are maintained through monthly and spot checking of inventory between records and physical count.

· Maintains commissary pricelist in the Oracle R12 system.

· Encourage innovation in inventory management practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

· Participation in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

· Ensures complete, accurate and timely recording of commissary inventory transactions. That includes reconciliation of actual count and balance per book.

· Ensures that inventory balance per general ledger is reconciled versus subsidiary ledger and actual count sheet/ physical count.

· Ensure that all inventory variances are consistently analyzed and are recorded prior to monthly closing of books of accounts.

· Participate in the monthly commissary physical count and lead in the annual physical count together with the Internal and External Audit.

· Trains SBU on current processes, systems and other improvements.

· Conducts training and orientation based on the new SBU Standard Reporting and new corporate policy implementation to ensure 100% compliance.

Education

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science Major in Accountancy or other related courses

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting and finance function in other company. At least familiar with Inventory transactions.

Training/License/ Certification

  • Licensed CPA/CMA is an advantage

Technical Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of MS office especially MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint

  • Knowledge in accounting systems, preferably Oracle R12, Fusion

  • Adept in inventory management and variance analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills necessary to communicate and discuss concerns departments, co-employees, branches, affiliates and recommendations to immediate superior.
