Engineering and Maintenance Technician

JOB PURPOSE

Keeps tools and equipment working smoothly for a company. The duties include performing scheduled maintenance procedures on equipment, installing new devices and machinery, and troubleshooting and repairing problems, and aligned with our organization's vision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan, including regular maintenance. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the lakehall.

  2. Evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems in the lakehall

  3. Receiving and responding to clients reports of mechanical or maintenance issues

  4. Maintaining the fire, carbon monoxide, smoke, and other safety systems within the structure

  5. Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair

  6. Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures

  7. Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs

  8. Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly

  9. Applying preventative measures to the lakehall to reduce the risk of future problems

  10. Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

  11. Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped

  12. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for the team and clients.

  13. Other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Education / Professional Experience

· At least a graduate of Senior High School (?)

· Proven experience in Basic understanding of electricity, hydraulics and other systems

· Strong knowledge of Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician

· Strong understanding of common treatment processes and methods

· Working knowledge of tools, common equipment and tools and Experience in operating a wide range of equipment

· Excellent manual dexterity and problem solving skills.

· Proficient in budget management and project planning

· Familiarity with sustainability practices in repair and maintenance
