DRIVER

Job Summary:

The Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of personnel, goods, and important documents for the organization. This position requires a responsible and reliable individual with excellent driving skills and a strong sense of professionalism.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport personnel, clients, and goods to designated locations.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe driving experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and regular maintenance of the vehicles.
  • Plan and follow efficient routes to optimize time and fuel consumption.
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring their proper handling and security.
  • Collect and deliver important documents, packages, and mail accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of sensitive or confidential materials.
  • Maintain an organized record of all deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and receipts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to schedule and prioritize deliveries.
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
  • Support other departments with tasks as needed, including errands and procurement activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation of expenses related to fuel, toll fees, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with traffic rules, regulations, and company policies while driving.
  • Regularly inspect vehicles for any maintenance or repair needs, reporting them promptly.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during driving and delivery tasks.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a driver or messenger, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting.
  • Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of efficient routes.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Basic computer literacy for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and lifting of packages.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's license and clean driving record required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15,000.00 per month
