About the role

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Book Keeper with food industry experience to join our dynamic team at Madison Square Marketing. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our accounting department. The position is based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and other reports
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  • Provide support to the finance team and collaborate with other departments as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient bookkeeping practices
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and confidentiality in all financial matters

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a fast-paced, small-to-medium-sized business environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial records
