About the Role
Job Title: Barista/Cashier
Reports to: Store Manager/OIC
Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule
Work Location: Macao Imperial Tea - SM Mindpro
This role requires crafting and serving high-quality beverages and providing excellent customer service.
- Prepare a variety of beverages, including teas, coffees, and specialty drinks, following Macao Imperial Tea's recipes and quality standards.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, confident, and efficient manner. Answer customers' questions about menu items and offer recommendations. Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and serving areas. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation.
- Work quickly and accurately during busy periods to keep up with customer orders. Handle multiple tasks, such as taking orders, preparing drinks, and handling cash or card transactions.
- Stay informed about Macao Imperial Tea's menu offerings, including seasonal items and promotions. Make suggestions and upsell additional items when appropriate.
About You
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is a plus but not always required; training may be provided.
- Passion for coffee and tea, with a desire to learn about different types of beverages.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Attention to detail for beverage preparation and presentation.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Willingness to follow company recipes and standards.
