Job Summary:

The Banquet Attendant is responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events in accordance with company standards and guest expectations. This role ensures a high level of guest satisfaction through prompt, courteous, and professional service during events such as weddings, conferences, corporate meetings, and parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms and tables according to event specifications (layout, linens, silverware, centerpieces, etc.)
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Clear dishes, glasses, and other items throughout and after the event.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces before, during, and after events.
  • Assist in the teardown and storage of banquet equipment and supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, kitchen staff, and event coordinators.
  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous banquet, catering, or food service experience is a plus.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • May involve long hours, heavy lifting, and frequent walking or standing.
